West Memphis triple shooting kills two
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting at a West Memphis apartment complex left two people dead and another injured Tuesday night, according to police.
One of those victims was identified by a family member as Shawn Smith Jr., 31.
Reports say that just after 11 p.m., officers responded to a distress call that a woman had been shot at the Riverside Apartment Complex.
Upon arrival, officers say they found a woman and a man unresponsive. They were both pronounced dead on the scene.

A second woman was also found on the scene. Police say she was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
