2 arrested after St. Pete SWAT team raids drug house, police say

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg police arrested two men Monday after raiding a “known drug house,” according to officials.

The St. Petersburg Police Department said its SWAT team executed a search warrant at a home on 526 Palm Avenue North.

At the time of the raid, officers believed the house’s residents were heavily armed. During the search, investigators found two assault rifles inside the home, the department said.

Two suspects were arrested in the search. St. Petersburg police identified them as Rodairren Green, 22, and E’shon Hamilton, 23.

Green was charged with fleeing and eluding as well as possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Hamilton was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and felon in possession of a firearm
