2-alarm fire engulfs apartment unit in Oildale

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Multiple fire teams raced to the call of a structure fire in Oildale Sunday afternoon.

The fire was located inside a second floor apartment at a complex located on Douglas Street near Diane Drive. Damage to exterior windows and the attic of the apartment unit could be seen.

BPD searching for at risk teen last seen in southeast Bakersfield

No injuries have been reported, and no word yet on how many people or pets have been displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
