17 Times The 'Vanderpump Rules' Cast Were Messy AF
In the immortal words of Lisa Vanderpump, “Villa Blanca is where you take your wife, SUR is where you take your mistress.”
While there are approximately 8,952 reality shows on television, even the most imaginative ones follow a formula based around things like family, romance, voyeurism, and/or talent - or at least the intersection of those themes and, you know, DRAMA. Vanderpump Rules has smashed those molds like a broken pasta plate, building its cult following on bed-hopping, back-alley showdowns, and a couch so seeped with betrayal that it should be quarantined by the CDC. I mean, take this plot summary from an episode of the first season: "when the whole staff is sleeping with each other, Lisa doesn't know if she should fire the whole company." (Spoiler alert: she didn't, but probably should have.)
