16-year-old robbed at knifepoint, attacked by trio in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for three suspects accused of robbing a 16-year-old boy in the Bronx on Thursday, according to the NYPD.

The incident occurred near 1229 Franklin Ave. around 5:15 p.m., police said. Three suspects walked up to the 16-year-old victim and allegedly stole his items after pulling out a knife, police said.

When the victim ran across the street, to flee, two of the suspects chased him before kicking and punching punching him, authorities said. The victim suffered scratches to his arm and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
