16 injured after USC bus collides with Metro train in L.A.

A total of 16 people needed medical attention after a USC bus and a Metro train collided in Los Angeles late Tuesday morning. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision occurred at 11:54 a.m. on Exposition Boulevard between Normandie Avenue and Figueroa Street near the USC campus. The train involved was the Metro E line, which travels from Santa Monica to East Los Angeles. Around 150 passengers were on board. KTLA's Carlos Saucedo reports on April 30, 2024.
