Childbirth is an incredibly powerful experience for parents-to-be. And while some people might cringe at the idea of such an intimate moment being captured forever, others can't wait to have it immortalized in a photo. The Moment of Birth Contest is held to "support birth photographers from around the world and inspire more people to embrace the beauty of birth." Birth Becomes Her, the organization that held the contest, said over a hundred birth photographers from around the world entered. It took the judges five whole weeks to select the winners.
