Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

Al Chile Taco Shop, 11200 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, had 20 violations during a March 26 routine inspection.

Hen House, 2724 W. 53rd St., Fairway, had 14 violations during a March 26 standardization inspection.

Los Gallitos, 6508 Martway St., Mission, had 10 violations during a March 25 first operational inspection after licensing.

Raj Express Indian Kitchen, 11721 College Blvd., Overland Park, had 10 violations during a March 27 routine inspection.

Pepperjax, 5922 Barkley St. Suite. 100, Mission, had nine violations during a March 21 routine inspection.

Sushi Mido, 6010 Nieman Road, Shawnee, had nine violations during a March 27 routine inspection.

Rise Biscuits and Donuts, 6947 Tomahawk Road, Prairie Village, had eight violations during a March 27 routine inspection.

El Pulgarcito Salvadorean Restaurant, 5921 Merriam Drive, Merriam, had eight violations during a March 25 routine inspection.

Pegah’s Family Restaurant, 11005 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, had seven violations during a March 26 inspection following a complaint.

The Phoenix Jazz Club, 302 W. Eighth St., had 11 critical violations following a March 21 routine inspection.

Golden Ox, 1600 Genessee St., had eight critical violations following a March 20 routine inspection.

Kona Grill, 444 Ward Parkway, had seven critical violations following a March 23 routine inspection.
