This week on Instagram, celebrities decided to give us a serious dose of nostalgia.

While we were busy reminiscing on how much we loved The Parent Trap and The Office, Justin Bieber and Solange Knowles were acting like complete and utter goofballs, and a corgi was graduating from college.

It was truly a...unique...week on social media, to say the least. Check out a few of the most noteworthy posts.

1. Justin Bieber

The singer kicked off the week by re-following his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, after two — that’s right two — long, dark years.

Fans were extremely curious as to what sparked this decision, but to be honest, Biebs has been acting a little goofy all week.

This iconic Instagram video shows Justin contorting his face while doing some strange (whale-like) singing in full-on IDGAF mode. He captioned the gem, “I don't know why I become a weirdo when I'm bored and alone, I didn't even know my face could form in this way.”

Neither did we, Justin. Neither did we. But thank you so much for this pure entertainment.

2. Michael Phelps

New father, Michael Phelps, seems to be getting the whole “dad” thing down.

The Olympic swimmer posted a photo of himself cradling his four-week-old son, Boomer Robert Phelps, with the caption, “Boomer says what’s up y’all!”

Earlier in the day, Phelps posted a family photo of him and fiancée, Nicole Johnson, relaxing in bed with their son, captioned, “Nothing like being home with the family!”

3. Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan gave us some major '90s nostalgia on her recent trip to London.

Lohan stopped by Annie James' house from her breakout film, The Parent Trap, and posted a photograph of herself posing outside the gate. The actress lovingly captioned the post, "A trip down memory lane."

Though 18 years have passed since the movie came into our lives, we’re still not over it, and clearly neither is Lohan.

4. Mindy Kaling

Who doesn’t love a good mini reunion of The Office?

While there have been several reunions since the show ended in 2013 involving co-stars such as John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Brian Baumgartner and Angela Kinsey — Mindy Kaling was gracious enough to announce her plans to reunite with actress Ellie Kemper with an embarrassing throwback photo.

Kaling shared a seven-year-old pic of gal pals Kelly and Erin all dressed up in glamorous matching clothes on the set of The Office.

She captioned the picture, “I get to see this one today, we're both wearing these outfits from seven years ago,” and later posted a current picture of her with Kemper, both looking fabulous.

5. The Bachelorette's Chad Johnson

Everyone is just waiting to see what the newest villain on this season of The Bachelorette does next, but until then we have this Instagram post to look at.

According to the caption that accompanies this perplexing photo of Chad in a bathtub, smoking a cigar, with sunglasses on — he does what he wants. Unfortunately, from what we’ve seen so far on the show, that usually means threatening people, resorting to physical violence or eating an abundance of raw yams and meat.

In true Chad fashion, the reality TV villain even created his own horrible hashtags: #TheChadelor and #MakeTheBachelorGreatAgain.

Oh, Chad...why?

6. Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles — daughter to Tina, sister to Beyoncé and Instagram inspiration to all — kicked off the week in an especially unique way.

The singer/songwriter/fashion icon posted a ridiculously quirky, exceptionally entertaining video of herself essentially dancing in her underwear and a dress she fashioned out of some random dry cleaning bags. Solange very simply captioned the post, "Leave me in a room with dry cleaning bags."

Beyoncé, we’re gonna let you finish, but this might be the greatest two second Instagram video of all time.

7. Kim Kardashian

On Sunday, the third day of the Governor's Ball in New York City — which Kanye West was scheduled to perform at — was cancelled due to bad weather.

Fans were outraged, but soon afterwards a rumor of a surprise Kanye performance spread throughout the city. Rapper 2 Chainz helped get the message to fans that Kanye would be performing in front of Webster Hall at 2 a.m., and all hell broke loose. The NYC streets filled with fans hoping to catch a glimpse of West at the pop-up show, but sadly it was cancelled.

Later on Monday, Kim posted a picture of the massive crowd that had gathered, captioned, “Last night was crazy! Kanye wished he could have performed last night and really tried so hard but it was ultimately out of his control! He has the best fans in the whole world, thank you all for coming out at 2 a.m.. Promise he will make up this pop up show!”

We’ll see if West and Mayor Bill de Blasio end up throwing New York City that block party.

8. Zac Efron

We love seeing a new celebrity friendship — it’s like seeing a dog walk on its hind legs.

But this National Best Friends Day, the adorable Zac Efron gave an extra special shout out to an imaginary best friend of his...Drake. Yeah, we have no clue what that means either.

Efron appears to have used the photo generator for Drake’s Views from the 6 album cover to place a tiny Drake on his own shoulder. He captioned the bizarre friendship tribute, “I dedicate national #BestFriendsDay to my imaginary BF, @champagnepapi. Always there on my shoulder when things get tough. Who's the mini Drake in your life?”

So touching, Zac. Here’s hoping that these two teen actors can one day become best friends IRL.

9. Ben Affleck

All jokes aside, Ben Affleck could not let National Best Friends Day pass without giving a shout out to his number one, Matt Damon.

The two have been our #FriendshipGoals since they were children. They have a friendship so strong, in fact, that the delightful Mindy Kaling and her friend Brenda Withers were inspired to write a play about them. The 2002 off-Broadway hit, Matt & Ben, based on the friends writing the Good Will Hunting script immortalized their bromance — just like this throwback picture.

The photo collage shows snapshots from one of Matt Damon’s past birthday parties, at which he appears to have pushed Ben’s face into his cake. Affleck captioned the adorable post, “This guy. #NationalBestFriendsDay.”

Be right back — swooning.

10. Anna Faris

For the latest episode of Anna Faris’ Unqualified podcast, the actress and her hubby, Chris Pratt explored alternative careers as professional wrestlers.

Faris posted a video of actor and wrestler, David Bautista teaching her and his Guardians of the Galaxy co-star, Pratt, some classic wrestling moves.

Faris captioned the video, "My back-up plan: professional wrestler trained by @davebautista and @prattprattpratt @unqualified so lucky I didn't break my neck-thanks guys!"

Pratt and Faris might want to stick to acting, but we still give them serious props for the attempt.

11. Pavlov the Corgi

Pavlov the Corgi is graduating from UCLA!

The pup’s Instagram shows his journey posing as a UCLA student for the past eight weeks, which culminates in the adorable doggy graduation his humans staged this past weekend.

Check out Pavlov’s Instagram account to learn more about his college days and congratulate him on earning his dog-gree.
