These New V-8-Powered Cars Will Be Racing Through Your Dreams All 2019

The age of turbocharging is upon us—but that doesn't mean you can't still buy a good V-8-powered car. In fact, there are a bunch of great V-8s on sale today. Here are some of the best.

Within the last few years, several manufacturers have adopted the idea of calling a four-door sedan with a sloping roofline a "coupe" to differentiate it from the other four-doors in their lineups. A coupe has two doors, not four. How hard is that to understand?

Want to experience the Hellcat but need more doors? Well, thankfully, Dodge offers the Charger with that same supercharged V-8 as well. You can't get it in Redeye form, sadly, but honestly, we're not sure you'll need those extra 90 horses. Here's a rare Daytona version you can own today.

No, you won't be able to take the Trackhawk version of the Grand Cherokee very far off-road, and your gas mileage won't exactly be stellar. You will, however, have a spacious SUV that offers plenty of comfort and luxury features that also happens to be faster in a straight line than a lot of dedicated sports cars. If a killer exhaust note is what you're searching for, it's hard to argue against the Jaguar F-Type R or SVR.
