1 in hospital after stabbing at Southeast Portland homeless camp

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person was seriously injured and taken to a hospital after a stabbing incident in Southeast Portland late Saturday night.

Just before 11 p.m., officers and crews from Portland Fire & Rescue responded to the bike path near Southeast 93rd and Powell Boulevard on report of the stabbing at a homeless camp.

On arrival, crews found the injured person and carried them to an ambulance to be taken to a nearby trauma center, authorities said.

No further information – including the injured person’s condition – has been released at this time.
