1 dead, 1 injured following shooting in KCK’s Argentine neighborhood
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Kansas City, Kansas police detectives are investigating after one person was killed and another injured following a shooting earlier this week.
The shooting was reported around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at an apartment complex at Douglas Avenue and Lawrence Drive in the city’s Argentine neighborhood.
Electric bicycle rider seriously injured after crashing on Rock Island Trail
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man was also struck by gunfire. He was taken to an area hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
