1 critically injured in shooting on Ridgeway

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night.

According to reports, officers responded to a call at an Exxon gas station on Poplar Avenue and Ridgeway Road a little before 11 p.m.

They found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Regional One in critical condition.

But the shooting took place several miles away, in the area of Ridgeway Road and Knight Arnold Road, police say.
