    Some 230,000 people tuned in to the live YouTube stream of Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister’s funeral in Hollywood on Saturday (9 January 2016). The rock 'n’ roll legend died on 28 December after a short battle with a highly aggressive cancer. The singer’s son, Paul Inder, said that his father started feeling ill in August and was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer days before he died.

    Motorhead Postpone Paris Concert, Issue Statement

    Motorhead have postponed their planned Sunday concert in Paris and issued a statement on the terrorist attacks. (Getty) Friday night’s terrorist attacks in Paris and subsequent border lockdown have forced Motörhead to postpone their Sunday concert in the city. The band’s crew, trucks and buses are unable to cross the border into France for the gig, which was to take place at concert venue the Zenith. The group intends to reschedule the gig for an unspecified date in January.

    Former Motorhead Drummer Phil Taylor Dead at 61

    Motörhead’s drummer Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor died Wednesday, former band member “Fast” Eddie Clarke confirmed. Taylor was 61. Rest in Peace, Phil!” Taylor drummed with the pioneering British heavy metal outfit from 1975 to 1984 and then again from 1987 to 1992, which means he played on the bulk of the band’s classic recordings.
