'Star Wars: The Force Awakens': The Trailer Has Landed!
The Force has finally awoken. The first trailer for the new, J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted in theaters and online this morning, giving fans a brief first look at the new chapter of the legendary franchise (you can watch the teaser above or go here). Despite its brief, 88-second run time, the trailer reveals nary a glimpse of returning characters Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, or Princess Leia.

Oscar Isaac is living the geek dream: Not only does he appear in the new Star Wars movie, but he gets to hang out with Han Solo and Princess Leia. The actor, now appearing in the Patricia Highsmith thriller The Two Faces of January, tells Entertainment Weekly that working with Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher on Star Wars: Episode VII is everything he’d hoped it would be. “They’re such funny people,” gushed Isaac.

Will William Shatner Return as Old Kirk in 'Star Trek 3'?
The newest Star Trek movie may put William Shatner back in the captain’s chair. According to the Alamo Drafthouse blog BadAssDigest, the script for Star Trek 3 includes a scene for the original Kirk and Spock, played by Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, respectively. Sounds like Shatner is being offered a place in the new Star Trek universe — but will he agree to boldly go?
