Dinos Are Under Attack in New 'Jurassic World' TV Spot

Nobody is safe at the Jurassic World theme park. Not even the dinosaurs. The new TV spot for the Jurassic Park sequel shows just how much devastation has been wrought by the new dino on the block, the genetically modified Indominus Rex. Along with some memorable scenes from previous trailers, like a pteranodon snatching a park visitor and the giant sea lizard mosasaurus chomping on a shark, there’s a chilling new shot of a field full of dead apatosauruses. “She’s killing for sport,” says Chris Pratt ominously. (Oh, yes — if you missed it in that first Thanksgiving trailer, the scary new dinosaur is a girl.)

We also get the revelation that the scientists tried to give the killer dino a sibling. “She ate it,” says Bryce Dallas Howard. Much about the Indominus Rex is still cloaked in mystery, and will probably remain so until the film opens on June 12. Still, the sight of that scaly eye lurking behind the bushes is enough to get our hearts pounding.
