Here's the New 'Jurassic World' Trailer!

Right before the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIX, football fans got a beastly bounty with the new Jurassic World TV spot. We’ve already seen some of the footage before in the inaugural trailer that debuted around Thanksgiving — why, hello again, you shark-eating sea monster! — but there were definitely fresh clues to pick over.

The Colin Trevorrow-directed sequel, which hits theaters June 12, revisits the lush dinosaur preserve, which has now been turned into a tourist-packed theme park. But catastrophe hits when an ill-advised, genetically-enhanced dino goes on a rampage.

Two of the main points to take home from this new clip: First, that these marauding dinosaurs don’t waste any time in turning the tables on the theme park’s human hordes when all hell breaks loose. At one point, Chris Pratt’s super-serious dinosaur expert says of the new predator, “It’s killing for sport.” And we get a terrifying moment of a pterodactyl plucking a poor woman from a screaming crowd:

We also get further evidence that Pratt’s character has succeeded in training the velociraptors and will indeed be using them as allies in the battle against the movie’s mega monster. “We’re going after it,” he says, “with everything we’ve got.” Will the raptors be ready? We’ll see for sure this summer.
