Forget a Rolling Stones T-shirt (pah!), now you can take dressing your tot with attitude to a whole new level with these new tattoo sleeves for babies and toddlers.

After feeling uninspired by more traditional kids clobber, mum-of-four, Tera decided to create the range of T-shirts and tops fitted with fake tattoo sleeves to give parents an edgier option.

“Having been a professional children’s photographer for ten years, I’ve seen hundreds of kids come to my studio,” the mum who lives in North Dakota explains.

“While the kids are always fun and adorable, sometimes their clothes are boring and the same old thing over and over again. I simply wanted rockin’ clothes, and I could never find them! So I decided to make my own.“

Tera’s baby clothing line, appropriately named TotTude, features designs like flames, skulls, barbed wire and tribal tattoos stitched into black, grey and red t-shirts.

Priced from $25 (£17.70), the quirky tattoo tees are currently being sold on Tera’s website, alongside bandanas, mohawk hoodies and other edgy baby accessories all designed to give your tot a little more ‘tude.

And if skulls are a sartorial step too far, you can opt to customise the designs with softer slogans featuring hearts ‘I love mum/dad’ and ‘born to be wild’. Cute! Sort of.
