Fate of the Furious star Charlize Theron stopped by Ellen on Wednesday where it was her turn to dish on that steamy on-screen kiss between her and co-star Vin Diesel. Diesel has already done plenty of talking in a recent interview with USA Today.
“I was definitely not complaining,” Diesel said, adding, “Charlize Theron is not a bad kissing partner to have. There are worse things that can happen to you.”
When asked if Theron enjoyed the kiss, Diesel replied, “Do I know she enjoyed it? Oh, my God, yeah. A kiss cannot lie, lips don’t lie. No, they didn’t. She OWNED it.”
In the scene, Theron’s character, Cipher, grabs Diesel and forcefully kisses him while he doesn’t respond. Due to the discrepancy between what happens in the scene and the way Diesel is talking about it, Theron says she just doesn’t get it. And it doesn’t sound as though she enjoyed it as much as he said she did.
“His character’s just frozen, standing there like a dead fish, right? So that’s what I was kissing. And he’s literally going around saying that I had the best time of my life,” Theron said.
