Asics Dropped a New Collection In Honor of International Women's Day

Just in time for International Women's Day, Asics dropped a new line of workout clothes inspired by strong women. Today, the company launched The New Strong, a collection of workout clothes designed for wear in and out of the gym. The line is divided into two capsules, "Luxe Traveler" and "Moto Femme." Luxe Traveler is designed to suit both workouts and long flights. A standout, the Luxe Traveler Jumpsuit, will make you feel like you’re traveling in a onesie while looking way more put-together. The Moto Femme collection is made to transition from workouts to errands with pieces that don't scream "performance." Take the Moto Femme Jacket, which won't look like activewear when paired with jeans, even though it's made with lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric. Asics chose three hard-core athletes to model the new collection in its campaign: Olympic track and field hurdler Queen Harrison, Team USA beach volleyball player Lane Carico, and long-distance runner Emma Bates (who won the 2018 U.S. Women's Marathon Championships). In honor of International Women's Day, Asics is also partnering with Right To Play (an organization that aims to empower children through sports) for a Runkeeper virtual 10K challenge. For every person who signs up for the challenge, Asics will donate $1 to Right To Play. It'll also donate $5 (up to $25,000 total) for each participant who logs a 10K with the Runkeeper app from now through March 18.

After signing yourself up to take on the 10K, might as well treat yourself to some new gear for motivation. The New Strong collection is out now on the Asics website and in stores.
