The 26th man on the Yankees' 26-man roster once again spent all nine innings of Wednesday night's 7-3 win over the Athletics sitting in the dugout watching, rooting and trying to soak in anything and everything. Taylor Trammell, a left-handed-hitting outfielder with five-tool talent, is waiting patiently for a first start for the Yankees.
The Yankees' bullpen took another blow on Friday, with right-hander Nick Burdi landing on the 15-day with right hip inflammation.
The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled Andy Pages from Triple-A Oklahoma City and designated Taylor Trammell for assignment. Pages is one of the Dodgers top prospects and impressed in Spring Training and his brief stint with the Oklahoma City Baseball Club. Pages slugged two homers on Sunday to give him five in the last seven games. During that span he has seven multi-hit games and gone 18-for-35 with two doubles, five home runs, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored.
