All-in-One DIY Picnic Idea: No Basket Required!

One of our favorite springtime activities is a good picnic! There’s nothing quite like sitting out in the sun on the grass or a pristine beach and enjoying yummy food and good company! Slowly but surely, it feels like the weather is starting to lend itself to a little frolicking in the outdoors, and what better way to enjoy the sunshine than with individual ‘picnics-in-a-bucket’!

When you make people feel special with individual set ups, it makes having a simple picnic quite the fancy affair!

Materials:

  • Bucket

  • Bandana for placemat

  • Paper napkins

  • Plastic utensils

  • Bottle charms

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Elastic

  • Plastic wine glasses

  • Paper plates

  • Burlap ribbon

  • Bubbles for fun

Tools:

  • Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut a length of burlap ribbon and tie it around the bucket.

2. Open the bandana and lay in the bucket as a liner.

3. Put the paper plate and the wine glass in the bucket.

4. Fill the mini bottle charms with salt and pepper and place them in the bucket.

5. Cut a piece of elastic and tie it around the plastic utensils. Bonus! It can be used as a hair tie on a hot day as well!

6. Put the bubbles in the bucket for entertainment.

Make sure to make one for each picnic attendee!
