A Wreath That Wood Be Good Any Time Of Year

Rin Tin Tin

This wreath is a celebration of nature’s textures and tones.  Burlap, straw and wood create the perfect seasonal palette while crisp, metallic leaves add just the right amount of pop to make it zing.

Materials:

  • Hot glue

  • Glue sticks

  • Straw wreath for the base

  • Burlap to wrap wreath

  • Thin sheet of tin or copper

  • Scissors

  • Leaf shape cookie cutter

  • Birch wood rounds

How To:

  1. Wrap the wreath in burlap, allowing some straw to poke through. Glue to the wreath as you go.

  2.  Layer and glue the wood rounds in any pattern along the wreath.

  3. Using your cookie cutter, press down on the tin.  This will leave a leaf shape on your tin. Cut out the leaves. You can also use any seasonal cookie cutter shapes, like birds, trees or even a turkey!

  4.  Glue on the tin leaves.

  5. Hang on your front door!
