Zosia Mamet Got Married and You Have to See Her Unconventional Wedding Hair

As production wraps on the final season of Girls, it seems the stars of the show are entering the next chapters in their real lives as well. Over the weekend, Zosia Mamet had a small, private ceremony marrying her longtime boyfriend and fellow actor, Evan Jonigkeit. While details on the whole affair are basically non-existent, what we do know is exactly how the actress wore her hair for the big day, and it’s just as unusual and ornate as you would expect from the girl who plays Shoshanna Shapiro.
Zosia’s hair stylist for the ceremony, Tommy Buckett from Serge Normant, was the first to break the news of her impending marriage, sharing an up-close image of the bride-to-be’s elaborate hairdo on his Instagram account. The actress opted to style her hair half-up, with tiered braids cascading down the back, interwoven with small shoots of a purple flowers, baby pink roses and blood red blooms.
“Sometimes you just don’t need a veil. Congrats @zosiamamet to being the girl that has never been traditional,” Buckett captioned the photo of Mamet’s fairytale hair.

It appears she paired the unexpected look with some equally quirky jewelry, wearing two large square diamond earrings in her left ear, and strand upon strand of matching necklaces of various lengths.

The actress also shared one more shot from the ceremony, depicting two rubber ducks dressed up in a suit and wedding dress in front of a sign that reads E+Z inside of a heart, writing in the caption, “@evanj550 my best friend, my soulmate, my HUSBAND, I love you. Here’s to forever and a day.”
At least, after experiencing the utter disaster that was Marnie’s wedding on Girls, Zosia’s real life nuptials couldn’t have helped but been an absolute matrimonial dream in comparison.
