Zooey Deschanel Just Posted a Clip of Olivia Rodrigo in "New Girl"

Zooey Deschanel is helping Olivia Rodrigo remember the good old days, when the singer appeared in an episode of New Girl.

If you're not a hardcore New Girl fan, then you probably missed the episode where Olivia plays one of the students that becomes obsessed with The Pepperwood Chronicles, a novel that Nick (internet boyfriend Jake Johnson) writes.

In the clip, Olivia's character talks about how cool Zooey's character, Jessica Day, is after finding out that she's friends with Nick. Zooey posted it with the caption, "Real footage of Olivia Rodrigo crediting me for inspiring her number #1 album. (JK, but great album @Olivia_Rodrigo!)"

Netflix UK & Ireland also made a compilation of all of Olivia's scenes (seen in season 6, episode 18) and posted it on YouTube. Although, you might as see the whole show because it is that good.

Olivia Rodrigo has been living on the top of the charts thanks to her brand new album, Sour. It has beaten out records, like "the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist in global Spotify history," according to Chart Data.

As she continues to dominate the charts, there's no doubt that there will be some more throwbacks coming out of the woodwork especially thanks to her impressive acting resume. Fans can also check her out in the current season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series every Friday on Disney+.

Basically, it's Olivia's world and we're all just living in it.
