Zooey Deschanel Celebrates Relationship Milestone With ‘Dreamboat’ Boyfriend Jonathan Scott

Zooey Deschanel is celebrating a relationship milestone with her Property Brothers partner Jonathan Scott.
The New Girl alum shared a photo of herself with Scott on Instagram to celebrate their fourth anniversary on Friday, Aug. 4. It features the HGTV star with his arms around the She and Him singer while dressed to the nines. Scott opted for a blue suit with a floral-patterned shirt, while Deschanel also donned florals in a summery pink and white dress.
The photo was taken in 2019 on the night the couple attended a taping of Dancing with the Stars within the first month of dating.
She captioned it, "4 years since I met this freaking dreamboat. I love him more every day. I'm forever grateful!"
Scott gushed over how much he adores Deschanel, too, writing in the comments, "You make me immensely happy. Every second of every day. I love the heck out of you 🥰😘."
The Property Brother also made an anniversary post of his own, including a nod to one of Deschanel's most iconic roles.
"500 days of @zooeydeschanel …actually it’s been a lot more, but who’s counting anyway? 😆 4 years really flies by. Happy anniversary baby!!! 🥰," he wrote in the caption. The photo accompanying the message features Deschanel taking a cute selfie of them outside, sitting in the shade with a tree behind them.
"Love you sweets!!! 😍😍," Deschanel commented on his post.
Deschanel and Scott's first time meeting was captured on camera. The pair met while appearing on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke in August 2019, joined by Deschanel's sister Emily and Scott's his twin brother Drew.
Two months later, Deschanel and Scott revealed their romance on Instagram, sharing a photo from Halloween Horror Nights featuring the construction contractor holding the actress.
