The "Zoey 101" Cast Had a Mini Reunion After Recent Reboot Rumors

Please send help because my heart is about to burst with joy after seeing most of the Zoey 101 cast reunite and post about it on social media. It's been more than 10 years since Zoey 101 went off the air, but that can't stop all the feels from rushing back in after seeing all of the videos and photos from the cast reunion earlier this week.

Earlier in July, reports that Jamie Lynn Spears was in talks for a Zoey 101 reboot began to circulate. The near-total cast reunion on Tuesday night in Los Angeles is helping fuel those rumors, with most of the Zoey 101 alums in the same room together for the first time in a long time.

Those at the reunion included Victoria Justice, Chris Massey, Sean Flynn, Matt Underwood, Abby Wilde, Paul Butcher, Jack Salvatore, and Erin Sanders. Sadly, cast alums Jamie Lynn Spears, Austin Butler, and Alexa Nikolas were not in attendance. It seems the whole reunion came together thanks to series creator Dan Schneider, who claims he caught wind of those possible Zoey 101 reboot rumors, orchestrating the entire reunion.

Based on posts from various cast members, the Zoey 101 gang went out to dinner first before having a casual hangout afterward. It's unclear if any business was discussed (like whether a reunion was going to happen) but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Everyone seemed to be picking up right where they'd left off, getting boisterous and sentimental and participating in group-wide singalongs throughout the night.

Jamie Lynn later posted an explanation on why she missed the cute reunion. In addition to currently shooting her Netflix series Sweet Magnolias right now, she wrote, "Not only did I miss the reunion, but I also missed the FaceTime because I'm lame and fell asleep. Thank y'all for the video and hope to see y'all soon." Meanwhile, Austin didn't post about the cast reunion, but he is currently promoting his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and soon, he'll be gearing up to play Elvis in a new Baz Luhrmann biopic about the singer's life.

Even though some cast members couldn't make it, this reunion still looks fun as hell. Take a peek below at some of the photos and videos shared by cast alums and bask in the glory of it all. And then maybe start crossing your fingers very hard a reboot will happen ASAP.
