Zoë Kravitz Attends Met Gala 2018 Wearing a Lace Dress

Zoë Kravitz’s Met Gala red carpet look is a total optical illusion. From one side, it looks like a conservative long-sleeved gown made of a gorgeous black lace; on the other, a strapless look that’s hanging on by two literal threads. With one fastening at her bust-line and the other at her hip, most of Zoë’s right side is totally exposed, giving Angelina Jolie’s viral leg-slit moment a run for her money.

While the black lace is reminiscent of a mourner’s veil, that’s about where the comparison to the Catholic image ends, so we’re certain Zoë is aiming more for the “imagination” part of the theme when it comes to “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” That said, she’s certainly red-carpet ready, proving that a little black dress (or, rather, long black gown) is anything but boring.

Zoë Kravitz is our fashion guru when it comes to red carpet wears that are classic, yet head-turning at the same time. She’s worn everything from a rainbow Dior gown made of feathers to the tulle and feather mini dress from the Saint Laurent Runway. She’s elegant, yet bold, which makes tonight’s look totally fitting for her style personality.

Though the look could be a wardrobe malfunction in the making, we’re obsessed with the lace gown. We’re sure a fair amount of tape went into the securing of this look, but it certainly paid off!
