We’re not done with you yet, Ziva.

The fan-favorite NCIS character has been hugely important to this season of the hit CBS show. For years, we thought Ziva (Cote de Pablo) was dead, so imagine our shock when she made a miraculous return earlier this spring.

Ziva was present this fall when NCIS resumed, but we’ve pretty much already started mentally preparing for her exit. After all, we’ve heard she’s only back for four total episodes so we know we can’t get too attached.

The good news about the above is that it means we still have two more Ziva-filled hours to look forward to—and we know exactly when you should mark your calendars. According to TVLine, Ziva will be back on December 17, 2019 and January 7, 2020.

We’re excited, but this also concerns us for a few reasons. The December 17 show is the final one of the year, and you know NCIS won’t end without some type of dangerous or emotional cliffhanger. We also don’t love that the January 7 installment is the first of next year, so the Ziva fix will end pretty early on for our taste.

The good news is that the response to her resurrection has been overwhelmingly positive. If they don’t ruin our lives and kill her off for a second time, it seems possible that she could come back again in the future (maybe as Gibbs's replacement?).

Ultimately, her survival is what we’re hoping for—not just for us, but for Tony and Tali, too.
