If Zendaya Coleman says it's fall, that means it's fall, ok? You won't hear any complaining from us about the sudden season change, as the actress sure knew how to "shake it up" (shameless Disney pun intended) at the US Open in the chicest black sweater and silky skirt combo.

It's been a hot sec since Z gave us a glimpse at her off-duty actress style, with her most recent looks leaning towards red carpet ready styles like her geometric gala gown and ball-worthy red dress. But her lack of casual-wear content isn't without reason. She's kept super busy this summer, househunting in Brooklyn with BF Tom Holland, landing Emmy nominations, and dispelling pregnancy rumors all while recovering from a cooking accident.

Taking a well-deserved break in New York City on August 31 after weeks of filming the second installment of Dune in Belgium, the effortlessly stylish queen ran some errands before heading to Queens for the tennis match between Serena Williams and Anett Kontaveit. The Emmy Award-winner took her mother Claire Stoermer to the star-studded sporting event.

Giving us a lesson in Fall Style 101, Zendaya wore a white and tan slip dress with a brown lace trim. The soft, orange and yellow floral satin dress was expertly layered under a cozy, black long-sleeve turtleneck sweater. This layering technique is perfect for transitioning those summer dresses you have hanging in your closet into colder temp outfits.

Mid-calf, heeled black leather sock boots, a ring, and a silver wristwatch completed Zendaya's look, with the starlet adding gold-rimmed, aviator glasses to her 'fit later on to take a closer look at the match. Her brown locks were blown out into a voluminous, glam wave style parted down the middle, staying true to the Gen Z hair preference. Z's makeup tied the fashion moment together with rosy cheeks and a pink-nude lip.
