Zendaya is no stranger to making a statement on the red carpet, but somehow she still manages to leave me speechless.

The 25-year-old stepped out in a vintage Roberto Cavalli dress at the 2021 Ballon d’Or Ceremony in Paris on November 29 to kick off the press tour of her upcoming movie Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The gown was a simple yet elegant look from Cavalli’s Fall 2000 collection but Z took it to the next level by asking the brand's creative director, Fausto Puglisi, to create a gold spine detailing on the open back.

And if the new addition to the dress gives you deja vu, you’re definitely onto something! Zendaya took to her Instagram story to repost a fan’s photo, revealing that the inspiration behind her dress came from none other than Spider-Man 2 villain, Dr. Octopus. “We love a reference,” Zendaya wrote.

The original photo captioned, “SHE STARTED OFF WAY TOO STRONG I MIGHT PASS OUT🔥 Zendaya as Doctor Octopus but make it fashion.” Other fans lost it over her iconic look. “Let’s hear it for the back of the dress! 👏 👏 👏,” said one user. “Queen of fashion 😍,” said another.

The form-fitting silhouette left Zendaya looking toned and strong from head to toe and emphasized her sculpted booty and back.

Wonder how she stays so motivated? During her interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, she said she often works out with her assistant and roommate Darnell. Before a workout, she would "wear a different wig, come down in a different character, and try to entertain him and make him laugh every single day."

While Zendaya has spoken about her vegetarian diet in the past, she also has a sweet tooth. In June, she told Harper's Bazaar "I love breakfast food, just not at breakfast time. I'll eat breakfast food, but it must have some Nutella on it: pancakes, berries, and Nutella."

And now I'm suddenly craving Nutella.
