Zendaya Won Her First Emmy and the "Euphoria" Cast Couldn't Be More Proud

Just in case you needed another reason to start watching Euphoria, Zendaya just won her first ever Emmy for her role on the show. She won the Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama series. Of course, fans are super proud of the former Disney star, and Zendaya's Euphoria co-stars are also on social media showing just how excited and happy they are for the actress.

Zendaya's on screen sister Storm Ried posted a whole video about it. You can see her jump up and down saying how proud she is. "Congratulations, Z. I love you," she shouts. In another tweet she says, "CONGRATS TO MY BIG SIS."

Sydney Sweeney plays Cassie and kept her congrats simple and sweet with a tweet that says, "THATS RIGHT Z!!!!"

Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules, posted a video on her Instagram Story captioned with the one word that summed up how we all felt about Zendaya's win: EXACTYYYYY

But HBO may have made the best tweet of the night, comprised of Zendaya's name in all caps 35 times. It's a mood.

On top of winning her very first Emmy, Zendaya has also just made history. At 24, she's the youngest person to win an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Zendaya's acceptance speech inspired her fans to keep being positive despite the fact that right now is a difficult time for so many people.

"To the incredible cast and crew of Euphoria, I'm so lucky to go to work with you every day and I'm inspired by everything you do," she said.

"I know this feels like a really weird time to be celebrating, but I just want to say there is hope in the young people out there," she continuec. "I know that our TV show doesn't always feel like a great example of that, but there is hope in the young people. And I just want to say to all my peers doing the work in the streets, I see you and I admire you, and I thank you. Whoa, OK, thank you!"
