Zendaya Turned a Wardrobe Mishap Into Valentino Haute Couture Suiting Lemonade

Zendaya has become known for her finesse with suiting, and she proved why yet again on Thursday at the opening of Bulgari's Hotel Roma in Italy. Except, this one came together a little last-minute (though, you'd never be able to tell).
The actor arrived at the photo call looking suave in a glittery black Valentino suit over a sheer netted tank, from the Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection. However, she revealed on her Instagram Story that she was meant to wear an entirely different look — but it got "lost in transit." So, she and Law Roach called upon their friends at Valentino day-of. (Zendaya used to be the face of the brand.)
"Fun fact... we got this suit an hour before the event. When in doubt, a @maisonvalentino suit," she wrote on Instagram.
Zendaya opted for no necklace with her scoop-neck top, leaving her décolleté bare. Instead, she piled on the Bulgari jewels on her fingers, wrist and ears.
