Zendaya and Tom Holland Just Confirmed They're More Than Friends

·2 min read

After years of denying that they're together, photographers snapped Zendaya and Tom Holland making out in his car. According to Page Six, which published the photos, the two were in Los Angeles, Zendaya's hometown, when they kissed during a red light. Additional photos show them with Zendaya's mother, Claire Stoermer, in Silverlake. Neither Holland nor Zendaya has commented on the images, though the two previously dodged rumors about the possibility that the two are a couple. The two met on the set of 2017's Spider-Man.

Zendaya previously told Variety that she and Holland were not together, saying, "He's literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we've had to do press tours together. There's very few people that will understand what that's like at 20 years old."

Back in July 2017, a source close to the two told People that the two were romantically involved, but kept everything as quiet as possible to keep things private.

"They started seeing each other while they were filming Spider-Man," the insider said. "They've been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they've gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another."

"They're both really ambitious and they challenge each other — but, most importantly, they make each other crack up," a second source added. "They seem to have a really similar sense of humor and love joking around together. They have great banter back and forth."

In an interview with British GQ, Holland noted that Zendaya "totally changed the way I am able to be more comfortable in public." He also noted that he felt pressure from being in a public relationship, saying that he never wanted his romantic life to overshadow his body of work.

"It's very nerve-racking. It means that if you are dating someone, you have to be really conscious of their feelings, because if something does happen between the two of you, it's not just happening between the two of you, it's happening in front of the entire world," he added. "It's one of the things I worry about most, of all the things in my career."
