Zendaya Suggests a New Hybrid Coat for Fall: the Biker-Trench

Wednesday’s Marc Jacobs show at New York Fashion Week was a hot ticket: the front row was lined with big-name celebrities including Erika Jayne, the couple-of-the-moment Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid and many others. But Zendaya stood out even among the other stylish VIP guests. After taking care of business earlier in the week (she debuted her second collection in in partnership with Tommy Hilfiger), the Euphoria actress looked ready to have a bit of fun, showing off a new coat idea that's a hybrid of two fall staples.

Meet the biker-trench. A bit like those trending Matrix-style coats, this leather piece benefited from a sleek below-the-knee silhouette but also added moto-style lapels for an unexpected mish-mash. Zendaya styled the jacket with a lace-trimmed slip dress, black tights, and platform leather ankle boots. Large crystal Fallon earrings, meanwhile, gave the look an evening-ready spin.
