Zendaya is blazing a trail for young, female actresses everywhere. As a part of a widely talented class of rising stars, Zendaya has garnered herself two Emmys wins for her role as Rue Bennett in Euphoria.

A critical part of the series, new reports have indicated that Zendaya is slated to earn $1 million USD per episode for season three of the series. Matthew Belloni of Puck reported that Zendaya has "just closed a big re-negotiation," placing herself amongst the Friends stars with her new salary. Zendaya recently became an executive producer for the second season of the show. She was also the youngest person to ever receive an Emmy nomination in the producing category at the age of 25.

Fellow Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney has said in the past, "They don't pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals. The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5% to my lawyer, 10% to my agents, 3% or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that's more than my mortgage." In Belloni's report, he also indicated other A-listers in the seven-figure TV salary range. Besides Zendaya, Michael Keaton on Dopesick, Jason Sudeikis on Ted Lasso, and Elisabeth Moss on Shining Girls are amongst those in the same group. Currently, John Krasinski on Jack Ryan is the highest-paid TV actor.

As Euphoria continues to be one of the most popular shows on HBO Max, it will be interesting to explore how the characters develop and how Zendaya will continue to grow on the show.
