Zendaya’s Pink Tom Ford Look Won the Critics’ Choice Awards 2020 Red Carpet

“A whole work of ART.”

Leave it to Zendaya to shut down the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet and make Twitter completely lose it all at the same time.

The Euphoria star caught everyone’s eye when she attended the awards ceremony on January 12 in a pink Tom Ford look straight from the brand’s spring 2020 collection. Zendaya completed the look with a statement-making metallic fuchsia bustier top, tiny diamond hoop earrings, pink heels, and a matching maxiskirt. On the beauty front, she paired her look with long box braids and a natural makeup look, topped off with a glossy pink lip.

While on the red carpet, Zendaya took the opportunity to spare all the details on the eye-catching molded bustier. “I saw it on the runway and thought it was sick and amazing because they were actually able to scan and mold my own body so it fits me the right way, so it’s pretty cool,” she told ET. “It was a very science-tech situation going on, so it was very [one-of-a-kind].”

Needless to say, the look set Twitter on fire. “Zendaya is a whole work of ART,” tweeted one fan. “2020 is my year but in 2021 I become Zendaya,” added another “ZENDAYA SNAPPED AND I AINT GONNA STOP TALKING ABOUT IT,” tweeted yet another, capturing the overall sentiment of Twitter.

Z’s ‘fit was on everyone’s lips, and we mean it. Even Gwyneth Paltrow, who wore the same bustier on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, chimed in on the look, and she was thrilled about the twinning moment with Z. “Thank God I can say I have something in common with Zendaya,” Gwyneth commented on an Instagram post of the actor, seemingly forgetting that, you know, they both are literally part of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe together. But, hey, that’s Zendaya’s power!

As far as Z is concerned, this look is without a doubt going down in the books as one of her most iconic ever.
