Zendaya is the latest Euphoria star to pay tribute to castmate Angus Cloud, who died unexpectedly on Monday, July 31. He was 25 years old.

Zendaya, who stars as Rue Bennet on the popular HBO series, worked closely with Cloud, the actor behind the fan-favorite character, Fezco. Throughout the show's first two seasons, the two actors created a touching dynamic onscreen, with Cloud's character often acting as a brotherly figure for Zendaya's.

But their sweet relationship seems to have extended beyond the screen as well, as the 26-year-old actress penned a heartfelt message on Instagram to honor her late friend following the devastating news of his death.

"Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor)," Zendaya began her post for Cloud, whose full name is Conor Angus Cloud Hickey. "I'm so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it)."

She continued, "I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…'they could light up any room they entered' but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment."

"My heart is with his mother and family at this time," the Dune star added in her post, urging her Instagram followers, "please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone."

Shortly after Zendaya's post went live on Tuesday, another star on the show, Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard), spoke out to share her own memories with Cloud, writing, "Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter."

"This is the hardest thing ive ever had to post, and im struggling to find all the words," she admitted while going on to say, "You will be missed more than you know, but I'm so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I'm sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same."

"This heartache is real and I wish we could've had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you. 🖤" Sweeney, 25, concluded her post.
