Zendaya is finally heading to Netflix and thankfully for us, the wait isn't that long.

If you haven't heard, Zendaya filmed an entire movie, Malcolm & Marie, in secret during quarantine at the beginning of the coronavirus shutdown in Hollywood and now it's finally seeing the light of day.

Netflix announced the good news on its Twitter page and revealed that the movie will be coming to the streaming service in February 2021.

"Malcolm & Marie — a cinematic ode to the great Hollywood romances from Euphoria creator Sam Levinson starring Zendaya & John David Washington — will premiere February 5, 2021 on Netflix!"

Zendaya retweeted the news and added, "Now my heart is racing, so much excitement in it."

According to Deadline, "John David Washington plays a filmmaker who returns home with his girlfriend (Zendaya) following a celebratory movie premiere as he awaits what’s sure to be imminent critical and financial success. The evening suddenly takes a turn as revelations about their relationships begin to surface, testing the strength of their love."

Production on the film was strict due to the pandemic, with Zendaya revealing that she did a lot of stuff on her own.

"I did my own hair and makeup and dressed in my own clothes. And then we shot in black and white on film, so we'll see how it turns out," she told InStyle. "I think we were able to create something really special. And I'm grateful that we learned how to do it on our own."

So mark your calendars, because you definitely don't want to miss this one.
