Zendaya Did Her Own Hair and Makeup for GQ Men of the Year Awards 2018

We already know that Zendaya is a talented actor, singer and fashion designer. One more thing we can add to the list of things Zendaya is amazing at? Hair and makeup artistry.

For GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday night, she took charge of her own hair and makeup, and the results were jaw dropping. She shared a series of photos of the look to Instagram, and captioned the first post "1/3 posts coming...just a warning, I’m feelin myself lmao." In the next shot, she shared, "fun fact: I did my own h&mu tonight, hence the lipgloss still in hand." And finally, in the last post, she wrote, "ok I’m done, sorry lol."

There's no need to apologize, Z — we truly can't get enough of this look.

She paired her stunning fuchsia, black, and yellow gown with makeup in the same shades, including a purple smoky eye and heavy golden highlight. She contoured her cheeks with rose-colored blush, and finished the look with a shiny gloss in the same shade. She wore her hair slicked back into the "wet look" — a favorite of Hailey Baldwin and Shay Mitchell's — but somehow managed to keep her waves in tact (sorcery, we say).

Zendaya hasn't yet revealed what inspired her purple look, but as the beauty brains over at Pinterest recently shared, the shade is currently all the rage. Celebs including Ariana Grande and Cardi B have also put their spin on the purple trend, wearing eyeshadow in shades of light lilac and deep lavender.

While we're still waiting for a full tutorial (Zendaya, if you're listening, please share the deets), she did reveal on her Instagram story that the first step in her glow-up involved prepping her skin with a sheet mask. If the whole actor-slash-singer-slash-designer-slash-all-around-amazing-human thing doesn't work out, we think Zendaya has a serious future in the beauty industry.
