Zayn Malik Shows New Lavender Hair Color on Instagram with Gigi Hadid

Zayn Malik's ever-changing hairstyles is officially giving us whiplash.

After debuting fluorescent green tresses (and eyebrows to match!) on May 29, the "Let Me" singer took to Instagram on June 11 with what appears to be a fresh lavender dye job. In one post, he teased the look from behind, but hid it under a navy blue baseball cap. However, in a subsequent shot, he showed off the new ‘do in a truly coordinated way by matching his T-shirt to his purple hair...and posing in a field of matching flowers.

To date, Zayn has dyed his hair nearly every color of the rainbow, and at this point it’s nearly impossible to keep up. Prior to unveiling his bright green hair-and-eyebrow combo a few weeks back, he had been rocking a platinum blonde hue that many considered to be his "breakup hair" after calling it quits with model Gigi Hadid. Prior to the couple's split, he had previously stuck to a closely shaved style so as best to show off his collection of head tattoos.

Speaking of Gigi, the model clearly seems to be a fan of Zayn's latest look. She took to the comments section of the post to express her approval with two expertly selected emojis (“🌼💜,”), in addition to posting the same image to her Instagram story. If you look closely at the picture, it appears that Zayn is handing a flower to a an outstretched hand — which may or may not(but probably does) belong to Gigi. If the pair’s very public PDA last week wasn’t enough to confirm that they were definitely “on again,” this definitely seems to suggest that they're at the very least, doing cute, summery activities together.

Despite the singer’s numerous color and style transformations, this isn't even the first time he’s gone purple; in 2015, he tweeted about switching up his hair color on a near daily basis, writing that, "Had it purple yesterday ha trying em all out ha."

While another new hair color is surely imminent, we at least hope that Zayn's maintaining the health of his strands with a good deep conditioner, like this violet-hued Overtone Deep Conditioning Treatment, and minimizing breakage during color sessions with some Olaplex.
