Zayn Malik Has Reportedly 'Been Sad' About His Breakup With Gigi Hadid
Zayn Malik has kept a pretty low profile this year since he and Gigi Hadid ended their rekindled two-year romance for good in January. Us Weekly reports now that Hadid is really moving on with The Bachelorette's Tyler Cameron, Malik has struggled a little. In fact, he has been struggling for a while, before Tyler C. entered the picture.
“He has been sad about their breakup and was very sad after their breakup,” a source told the outlet. That source said that Malik went so far as to buy a $10 million New York City apartment "less than 10 months ago" just to be closer to Hadid's place. It's on the market now, and Malik "never fully" moved into it.
Malik and Hadid's relationship just wasn't good for Hadid, the source added: "Everyone around Gigi is very supportive of her moving on. It was not a good move for Gigi and Zayn to be around each other. It wasn’t a healthy situation for her."
Even though Malik and Hadid broke up eight months ago, feelings remained months after. Malik tweeted that he loved Hadid in March. In April, he went off on Twitter when fans thought some angry tweets he sent about someone not being "the person you said you were" were about Hadid.
"To any dumb f*ck out there that wants to make they’re [sic] own stories up, my tweet was not about Gigi Hadid so leave her the f*ck alone she is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known and does nothing but love and support me when lord knows I don’t deserve it," he wrote. "So if you have anything to say @ me and I’ll put you the f*ck straight. If you know nothing shut your f*cking mouth." Message received, Zayn.
