If you grew up in the ’80s, Stranger Things is like a nostalgic stroll down memory lane; if you didn’t, it might not hold the same level of childhood familiarity, but it’s still a crash course in what ’80s life was like (minus, you know, things like the live Demogorgons). Either way, it’s a fantastic show with an almost-instant following; 15.8 million people watched it during the first 3 days of its release in 2017, and by its third season, viewership was up to over 40 million. Known for its attention to every ’80s detail almost as much as its sharp writing and intriguing storylines, it’s no wonder the recent arrival of its fourth season was so highly anticipated.
