Chips are the snack that keeps on giving since there are so many flavors and combinations out there. Zapp's chips, by Utz Quality Foods, are some of the most famous chips because of their NOLA-inspired Voodoo flavor, and now there's an Evil Eye flavor that you'll be obsessed with.

Zapp's Voodoo chips are a crowd favorite and are flavored with a blend of salt, vinegar, smoky BBQ, and sweet and spicy jalapeño. The intense blending of flavors is what makes Zapp's chips so popular, and they're kettle-cooked to give them an extra crunch. They are cooked in peanut oil, though, so keep that in mind if you have a food allergy.

The new Evil Eye flavor is that same New Orleans kettle style, but it is more of a spicy tomato flavor. @Snackmurder on Instagram described the chips as being "Strong with garlic and vinegar. There’s a slight sweetness and slow building mild heat."

Evil Eye chips are the same bright red color of a Flamin' Hot chip, but they have a slight spice rather than an overwhelming one. Although no one can quite put their finger on what exactly these chips taste like, reviews on the Utz website say there's definitely a tomato flavor to it, as well as a combination of seasonings like salt, onion, garlic, and paprika.

One commenter even wrote that Evil Eye is just as good as the beloved Voodoo chips: "I didn't think it could be possible to find a more delicious chip than the Voodoo flavor, but I have found it's match. Evil Eye comes close, but is more of an equal. They are flavor friends, if you will," they said.

IDK about you, but smushing these inside of a sandwich seems like an easy way to add crunch and spice onto any normal sub. Don't mind me while I add a bag (or five) to my shopping cart.
