Yup, We're Freaking Out: Joanna Gaines Is Coming Back to TV

From Country Living

Between writing best-selling books, raising her five kids, and managing the growing Magnolia Market compound, Joanna Gaines already has a lot on her plate. But now, she's bringing yet another exciting venture to the table—a brand-new cooking show!

She revealed the big news last week on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon alongside her husband and former Fixer Upper host Chip Gaines. The trio was in the middle of chatting about the Gaineses' new television network and Joanna’s recently announced Magnolia Table, Volume 2 cookbook when Jimmy brought up the idea of a cooking show.

"I don't want to tell you how to do your network," he said with a laugh. "But I would do a cooking show if I were you."

"I like that idea, Jimmy," Joanna responded, smiling. When he pressed her on the matter, she was quick to confirm the news: "We're doing one. Yes. We're gonna do it!"

The announcement marks the first official sign of Joanna’s return to our TV screens, so it's safe to say we're counting down the minutes. And while we don't yet have many details about the new show, we haven't let that stop us from daydreaming about all the things we'd like to see: recipes inspired by the couple's bakery, demonstrations pulled from the pages of Joanna's cookbook(s!), and signature dishes from Magnolia Table.

Here's hoping!
