  • YouTuber and beauty blogger Tati Westbrook is coming for James Charles and put out a 40+ minute video about why.

  • James recently said he's a fan of the Sugar Bear Hair supplements, which is part of the issue for Tati because she owns its competitor, Halo Beauty hair vitamins.

As James Charles is out here talking about the importance of "influencer representation," whatever that means, fellow YouTuber and beauty blogger Tati Westbrook is d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g him all over the internet.

For non-subscribers, here's a quick recap of their drama, which started on April 23: Allegedly, part of the reason Tati is mad at James is because James posted an Instagram video about how he loves those little blue Sugar Bear Hair supplements, which should be fine because people can like whatever they want! Except not! At least, not for Tati in this case, because she owns her own Halo Beauty hair supplement brand and feels like James has been unsupportive. See the problem? This is a major conflict of interest for Tati, and she's making her distaste for James known to the world wide web.

After Tati saw James' Sugar Bear Hair video, she took to YouTube to talk about how she's always "super supportive" of her friends. She added, "When you do so much for people in your life and they not only don't return the favor, but they just don't even see you... I feel really used."

Feeling "used" definitely sucks, and it seems James realized the supposed error of his ways and actually apologized. (Still waiting for him to walk back that "influencer representation" comment, though.) James responded with:

"This weekend I did an Instagram story for sleep vitamins that I've been taking because the brand helped me with security when the crowd around me at Coachella became unsafe. I did not accept any money from this post. Tati has a vitamin brand which I take on a daily basis, but in the moment, I did not think about the competition. I've supported Tati both online and off like she has done for me and am devastated that I hurt someone that I truly love and have endless respect for."

A week after James tried to make amends, YouTuber Gabriel Zamora stirred the pot with a 42-minute video called "Makeup and Opinions" and said Tati has "fraudulent behavior."

And here we are on May 10, 2019 with another 40-minute video to watch. (Side note: Where do these people get the time for these long videos!?) Tati said this whole situation with James is actually about "way more than just vitamins." She said:

"I know [James] has a way of getting what he wants. There’s so much going on with James Charles right now that I do not support, that I do not agree with… Fame, power and a fat bank account will change almost anyone. If you don’t have people that will tell you to your face that you are doing the wrong things, you will change."

Tati also claimed James made up lies about her, takes advantage of others, and once made inappropriate comments about wanting to hook up with a straight waiter while disregarding the waiter's sexual orientation, which is not okay.

After Tati posted her video, James' Instagram was flooded with comments echoing the title of Tati's video, "Bye Sister." One follower went so far as writing, "I lost so much respect for you, you need to respect other people and not worry about money or popularity."

Update 5/10/19: This post has been updated to reflect the most recent drama in the Tati-James feud.
