YouTube star leaves a $10,000 tip for an order of two glasses of water
Hot diggity dog! Sup Dogs, a hot dog eatery in Greenville, North Carolina, is enjoying a $10,000 tip left by a YouTube star who only went in for two glasses of water.
According to Associated Press, Brett Oliverio, owner of the establishment, told news outlets that a man later identified as Jimmy Donaldson – a 20-year-old vlogger known as "Mr Beast" who has almost 9 million YouTube subscribers –walked in Saturday and took a few sips of water before departing, leaving behind cash and a thank-you note for "the delicious water".
Alaina Custer, the waitress, who is an East Carolina University student, said there were two men at another table who were watching and filming her reaction. When she asked the men if they knew what was happening, they told her to subscribe to Mr Beast's channel.
Custer kept $800 of the enormous tip and split the rest with her coworkers; one good turn deserves another.
