Back and stomach—sleepers, this review isn't for you (although you can check out Parachute's classic pillows here). Fellow side-sleepers, hello! I come bearing good news, and it's that the pillow of your dreams has finally arrived. A lot of the bed pillows designed with side-sleepers in mind are made with memory foam, but if you, like me, prefer ones that aren't, Parachute's new side-sleeper pillow is the pick for you.

It comes in two fill options: Down, and a hypoallergenic down-alternative—both in a 100 percent sateen cotton shell with a reinforced, double-stitched piping seam and a 3.5-inch gusset. But most important, it's designed to give you all the support you need while you snooze. And I can confirm from personal experience: It lives up to that goal.

Unlike classic pillows, which don't feature the gusset so cleverly designed into Parachute's side-sleeper pillow, this pillow ensures that the fill distributes evenly all the way out to the edges, so it's not fluffiest in the middle—it's equally fluffed everywhere, meaning your neck and head get the extra support they need when you fall asleep on your side. And it does all of that without being too soft or too firm.

I've been using the Parachute side-sleeper pillow (in the down alternative fill) almost every night for the past three weeks, and while I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in my sleep routine (I've never, historically been that great of a sleeper in general!) but I can say that it has made falling asleep a lot more comfortable, and that I also wake up feeling less stiff in the neck now. And on top of that, when I spend the night at my partner's place and go back to using a regular pillow, I definitely notice the difference.
