Picture this: It’s Easter morning and as you get all of your ingredients out so you can prepare your meal, you realize that you forgot something…not just something small, but something major.
In case that scenario happens to you this year, don’t panic. Fortunately, there are several grocery stores open on Easter you can go to for last-minute items.
To help you know exactly which grocery stores are open on Easter Sunday 2023, we made a list of which grocery stores are and aren't open on Easter. These stores include ones that you can find all over the country like Walmart and Target and smaller chains, like Food Lion and Duane Reade, that are popular in certain regions of the United States. And while this list contains all of the grocery stores open and not open on Easter, remember that the grocery stores open on Easter may not actually be open for the entire holiday. Instead, lots of stores alter their hours on Easter and close early, open up later, or don’t offer up their usual delivery services. Most stores will have their regular hours, which are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. However, store hours will vary by location.
2. Albertson’s
Most stores will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., but it's best to call your go-to location to check about hours in your town.

The hours can vary store-to-store depending on its location. However, most of them tend to open later than usual and close sooner.

Stores will be open with reduced hours. Most locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

BJ’s Wholesale Club locations will open at 9 a.m. to the general public on Easter. BJ’s locations will close early on Easter and members can call their local club for more information on specific hours. BJ’s Optical centers will be closed on Easter.
