Last night, Kylie Jenner debuted her third (that we know of) new tattoo of the year — and as usual, it got the internet talking. The latest tattoo that she’s revealed to the public is the word “sanity” written phonetically as “\ˈsa-nə-tē\” in red ink across her right hip. “All red,” she captioned the Instagram. While her older sister Kendall Jenner only has two relatively discrete tattoos (both on her fingers), possibly due to her modeling career, the youngest Jenner is not shying away from making a statement with her body art. We already know the burgeoning beauty mogul has big plans for 2016 — like a full makeup collection! — so before we report on any more King Kylie news, here’s a definitive guide to her tattoos (so far).

\ˈsa-nə-tē\

This is Jenner’s third tattoo of 2015 — and it’s been confirmed to be another work by celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang, who also gave Rihanna her controversial gun tattoos and infamously inked Justin Bieber mid-flight. It sits above her right hip, according to the Instagram. Currently, there is an intense debate on Instagram about whether the pronunciation key is correct. “technically the ē should be an /i/,” wrote one commenter. But according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Jenner’s new red tattoo is phonetically correct. Don’t ever question King Kylie’s attention to detail — Kim is her big sister and mentor, after all.

Tiny Heart

On her 18th birthday, Jenner wore her heart on her sleeve — sort of. She took a bathroom selfie in a backless red dress and simply captioned the Instagram, “red.” This could allude to the plunging dress, but it could also allude to the tiny red heart on her upper right arm. According to Hollywood Life, the heart symbolizes all the love she has in her life — including the relationship with her boyfriend, Tyga. “Fortunately, she’s smarter than to get his name permanently inked on her,” the source said. She got this tattoo before she met Bang Bang, so we speculat that it was inked by big sister Kendall’s artist, Jon Boy. JonBoy is known for his discrete and subtle tattoos, like Jenner’s single white dot on her finger to represent “the little things that matter,” he mentioned on Instagram.

The Mystery

In November 2015, Jenner traveled to New York City to support Caitlyn Jenner at the Glamour Women of the Year awards — and she made a pit stop at Bang Bang’s studio for the first time. “My newest victim @kyliejenner,” he wrote on Instagram, along with a black-and-white photo of the duo together. Jenner also posted a cryptic Snapchat of herself lying down with a new script tattoo above her left hip, making a “hush” sign with her index finger. We don’t know what it is (yet), but it must complement her \ˈsa-nə-tē\ tattoo, also by Bang Bang.
